1. How do I select my company as the payment option?


Open your mytaxi app, click 'Booking Options', then click into the payment tab which is located directly above 'Order a Taxi'. From there you can select your company name from the list.




The app will remember your last selected payment method and that will be pre-selected next time you hail. Simply, click into the payment tab if you would like to change it. 


2. I can't see my company payment option in my app?


If you have completed the above steps/watched the video and cannot see your company name in the payment tab within 'Booking Options', then your Account Admin will need to add your email address to the account from their Admin Panel.


3. I have received the email invite to set up on my company account - How do I activate?


Open the email and click "Get Started". Then on the next screen you will need to enter login details.


i. If you have an existing mytaxi profile, click 'Yes' & enter in those login existing details here to flag that you will be also creating a business profile 
ii. If you do not have a mytaxi profile, click 'No', and create a brand new profile by completing the details. NB on the phone number field, please ensure +353 is selected and not +49. 


4. How do I add a reference to my trip?


Open mytaxi > click 'Booking Options' > click into the payment tab which is located directly above 'Order a Taxi' > select your company name > type in the reference in the box underneath > Tap 'Done'.


5. How do I select my cost centre?


Open mytaxi > click 'Booking Options' > click into the payment tab which is located directly above 'Order a Taxi' > select your company name > click on the cost centre drop down underneath to select yours. 


6. Help - I've forgotten my password?


Open the mytaxi app and there is a forgot password link underneath the login box in order to reset it.


But what if I'm an Admin/Booker and forgot my password? If you click on the forgot password link on the Admin Panel (business.mytaxi.com) or Web Booker (web-booking.mytaxi.com) there is a Forgot Password link. 


7. On the Web Booker, I can't enter in a passenger name and number?

If you select an Employee from the employee drop down list, it considers them the passenger so is connected to their name and number. Leave this employee drop down blank if you would like to type in the name and number of a passenger below, who is not appearing on the employee list. 


8. How soon can I prebook?


You can prebook from 20 minutes in advance. You can still input a booking for under 20 mins but it will be offered to drivers as an "adhoc" instant job, so we would recommend booking 20mins+ where possible. 


9. Can you prebook more than 4 days in advance?


At the moment, the limit is 4 days on mytaxi but this will be changing soon! We will be sending around communication when this has happened. 


10, How do I "Pay with mytaxi" when I flag a mytaxi on the street?


If you flag a mytaxi on the street and would like to sync up the business payment option instead of paying cash and expensing - get the driver to tap 'Pay with mytaxi' and search for your profile. When you profile is connected, 'Slide to Confirm' to confirm you are in that driver's taxi. 


11. How do I view my previous Trips in my app?


Open mytaxi app > tap on the menu (top right) > click on 'Trips' to view your history of all bookings (both completed and uncompleted). 


12. Where is the pick up point at Dublin Airport?


When hailing from within either of the terminal buildings, walking directions to the pick-up point will be available in the app. We advise contacting the driver to ensure a swift pick-up, and you can do this through the phone icon in your app. The outdoor surface area car park is the best place to meet your driver. 


13. I accidentally charged my own card instead of the company.


Oops! For each journey you will receive an e-receipt to the email address on your profile, you'll need to forward this to your Accounts Dept etc. for internal expensing. 


14. I accidentally charged the company instead of my own card.

15. I'm not getting my trips receipts?


The receipts come from ireland.support@mytaxi.com so you may need to unblock this or check your junk/spam folder.


16. Can a business account be used abroad in other mytaxi countries?


Yes, if you are using a corporate credit card on your account. Click here for list of cities that it can be used. To activate your business account for other countries log into the Admin Panel > Account > Settings > Tick the boxes for the countries you may need to use it in. 


If your business account is set up on a monthly invoice, then you can only use it in the country that it was set up in. This feature will be coming soon. In the interim, you can add a corporate card to your app. 


17. I'm an account Admin - Is there a guide specifically for account administrators?

19. What is a custom value?


The custom value option in the 'Employees' section of the admin panel means that each passenger attached to the account can have a number assigned that is specific to them e.g. employee ID.


20. How do I set cost centres and references as mandatory?


In the admin panel, go to 'Account' > 'Settings' > 'Mandatory Setting' > tick the box beside 'Employees must enter a reference for each trip' and 'Employees must enter a cost centre for each trip'. Once this has been done, employees will not be able to book a trip on the business account until both of these options have been filled out.
